Interview

Jan: Hi PA! What´s your real name and what does PA mean?
PA: Hi yourself, Jan. PA is short for Per Anders, but everybody calls me P.A. Certainly a lot easier for non-Swedes to pronounce, anyhow...

Jan: How old are you and where are you from?
I'm was born in Sweden 35 years ago but have lived abroad since 1994 until just a few months ago, when I moved back... Summers here are great, but as for the winters, I'm already having second thoughts about my choice :-)...

Jan: What are you working and what about hobbies?
I'm working for a TeleComms company and my main hobbies are my dogs, travel, friends, films & entertainment (such as Krakout2).

Jan: Since when are you playing Krakout? Did you play any other games of this genre before?
I discovered Krakout by chance on the net together with my friend Sanna, and after having downloaded the demo and playing those three levels till our eyes bled, decided to upgrade to the full version in the spring of this year. When Krakout2 was launched I got the full version as soon as it was possible, and haven't looked back since. My main addiction to this genre started way back with Atari 520ST and a game called "Impact". Shows my age, I guess...

Jan: You are at rank #1 of all three highscores, Krakout Unlimited (1 Player and 2 Player) and Krakout Unlimited 2 - do you have any hints for us?
Determination is always a good start. I always go for the "Expert" or "Hard" option in order to get as many points as I possibly can for each level. The multipliers are a player's best friend, so I rarely miss an "X2" if they appear. Also, you need to keep a cool head in order to use the "Wall" in order not to disturb the count towards 5 and 10 hits. Don't know if that makes sense to you, but that's how it's done, I guess... My highscore is based on all these ideas, and seems to work fine. Another tip is that you need to choose carefully whether the first level is worthy of your play or not. If it seems lame or without "goodies", press ESC and have another go... May not be fool-proof, but will at least give you a decent chance. See you at the MILLION mark, next time!!!!!

Jan: Good luck! :-)
